Tarık Rauf Özyayla

Tarık Rauf Özyayla is an undergraduate at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, where he is pursuing a B.S. in Physics alongside a B.A. in Philosophy. He joined the O’Shaughnessy Group in July 2026, and his interests lie in computational biophysics and the statistical physics of biological systems. Outside of research he plays and follows basketball, and takes board games far more seriously than the occasion usually calls for.
