The O’Shaughnessy and Waites groups are awarded seed funds through Columbia’s Research Initiatives in Science and Engineering (RISE). The collaboration with the lab of Clarissa Waites (Depts Pathology and Cell Biology & Neuroscience) seeks to unravel the mechanisms of neurotransmitter release at synapses.
